DJ Ekspert is een Oekraïense DJ, producer en componist, geboren in het oosten van de Krim. Al van jongs af aan beïnvloed door iconen als Michael Jackson en The Beatles, ontwikkelde hij een eigen, herkenbare sound.
Sinds 1994 actief als DJ, staat hij bekend om zijn atmosferische sets en technische mixvaardigheden. In 2008 nam hij deel aan het prestigieuze DMC DJ Championship, wat zijn technische skills naar een hoger niveau tilde. Hij werkte bij Universal Music en EMI, bracht muziek uit via CTS Records en deelde het podium met artiesten als Stereo MCs en Taboo (Black Eyed Peas). Hij was lid van de bekroonde band Green Gray en richtte in 2012 zijn eigen studio Horizon op in Kyiv. Ondanks de oorlog blijft DJ Ekspert actief als DJ en producer, altijd op zoek naar nieuwe muzikale vormen en live-improvisaties afgestemd op het moment. DJ Ekspert scratcht en gebruikt verschillende mix technieken tijdens zijn sets.

DJ Ekspert is a Ukrainian DJ, producer, and composer, born in the eastern part of Crimea. Influenced from a young age by icons such as Michael Jackson and The Beatles, he developed his own distinctive and recognizable sound. Active as a DJ since 1994, he is known for his atmospheric sets and technical mixing skills. In 2008, he took part in the prestigious DMC DJ Championship, which elevated his technical abilities to a new level. He worked at the Ukrainian offices of Universal Music and EMI, released music via CTS Records, and shared the stage with artists such as Stereo MCs and Taboo (Black Eyed Peas). He was a member of the award-winning band Green Gray and founded his own studio, Horizon, in Kyiv in 2012. Despite the war, DJ Ekspert remains active as a DJ and producer, always exploring new musical directions and improvising live in response to the moment and the mood of the audience. DJ Ekspert actively uses scratch and different mix techniques on his DJ performances.
